Pumpkin Patch

Saturday was a beautiful day for the pumpkin patch! Ella's birthday buddy from Wisconsin was in to visit, so Ella and Ellie went out to Goeberts in Hampshire.

Here are two videos of Ella standing and waving and Ella walking with her walking toy. We had to officially block off the stairs when we are in the basement because all she wants to do is try and go up them over and over again!

Update: Ella took her very first step tonight! We were practicing walking to Papa holding onto Mama's hands and when I let go, she took one step and then stood still. She is getting closer and closer to walking!

Jail bird

Here is a picture of our little Jailbird (as Opa calls her). She is really starting to cruise around furniture and we think that she will be taking her first steps pretty soon. Hope to see everyone at her birthday party in a few weeks!

11 months old!

I'm sure I have posted this comment over and over again, but I can't believe that our little girl is already 11 months old. She is feeling much better and is just trying to shake a cough, but she is back to her funny, crazy self!

She has been standing by herself for a few seconds, unknowingly, before plopping down onto her butt. We are trying to practice walking, but she always wants to dance and rock while standing.
