World's best toy

We recently had to buy a new humidifier for Taylor's room, and the box it came in was just the right size for our little peanut. She wanted in immediately and Ella helped her (and even tried to close the lid on her).

Row, row, row your boat

At Taylor's age, she's not a big fan of sitting in one place for very long. For that reason, we often burst into song at any time, and Ella is always singing along with me. This morning I started singing a song to Taylor and apparently she knows the words. I sang the line "If you see a lion there, don't forget to scream", and right on cue she "screamed". It was pretty cute, and then she started singing by herself.

Sprinkler fun

It was certainly one fun and hot Sunday! After a great morning run, I came home to Papa waking up the girls and the smell of cinnamon rolls in the oven. We ate breakfast and then got sun-screened and put on bathing suits to play in the sprinkler. Papa set up the wacky sprinkler and we played for about 30 minutes in the water before heading off to the park on our bikes and the girls in the bike trailer together for the first time.

"Take my picture"

Apparently Ella thinks anytime is a good time to have her picture taken....and I couldn't agree more :) Here's a "take my picture" moment from my cell phone.

The bouncing zebra

We were given this bouncing zebra from the Sigrist girls back in December of 2007. Both girls really enjoyed playing with it. Taylor loves to get on it and jump and bounce up and down.

Bowling with Meena and Uncle Michael

The weekend after Ella had her accident, Meena called and asked if she could take Ella to do something special. Ella was super excited to go bowling with Meena and Uncle Michael Kurtz. Apparently it was a huge success. They got to bowl, eat lunch and even stopped for ice cream on the way home. Thank you both for treating Ella to a great day out!!!

Piggies

It's been 13 months, but we are finally able to put Taylor's hair in piggy tales. Of course it is a bit of a process to get her to sit still, and I may have to bribe her, but it works :)
