2 piece swim suit

Sunday was a warm day at home, so after some morning shopping, Ella got to play in her whale pool. She wore her 2 piece swim suit and was a little hesitant about getting in. We finally turned the sprayer part off and she was much happier.

She also likes to make "choo choo" noises when trucks would drive by. We taught her that trains go "choo choo" and trucks go "beep beep." I think she has it figured out now.

Surprise from Uncle Bob

Ella received a very important package in the mail from Uncle Bob last week. She was interested in seeing what it was and excited when she got it open!

Thank you Uncle Bob for the pink Nasa Shirt and Hat. We are thinking that this might be her outfit for the first day of kindergarten, but it's best that they are too big than too small!

Bike Trailer and Park visit

Over the weekend we purchased a bike trailer. We have been wanting to get one for some time b/c the park that we enjoy going to is about two miles away, but it has a jungle gym that is just for Ella's size and age. So, we set it up on Sunday afternoon and went for a ride right away. Ella did not enjoy the trip there, but definitely did better on the way home.

We took another trip to the park today after dinner and she seemed to enjoy the ride. She has gotten really good at climbing up the stairs or climbing wall and sliding down like a big girl.

5th of July

Our friends Jesse and Lisa had a cookout on the 5th of July and we had a great time there. Ella and I went swimming and she loved the water. She held on to me tightly in the pool but enjoyed splashing. She also liked getting out of the pool onto the deck, giving Papa a high five and then stepping back into the pool into my arms.

Dumb Dog

We were lucky enough to have Meena's dog Choopy, spend the night with us on 4th of July. This is the only video we got of Ella in her festive dress, but I'm sure we will let her wear it a few other times. This is just one reason why Choopy doesn't like spending the night with us.
